  • Try a different nickname (someone might already own that one).
  • Corporate / school firewalls sometimes block IRC gateways. Try mobile data.
  • Open a native client and point it at irc.lucidchat.net:6667. See connect.
  • If the server itself is down, the indicator up top will go dark.
